The Board members
Xavier Heiligenstein, PhD
Xavier started as young researcher at Institut Curie in Paris where he was in charge of the development of correlative microscopy. He co-founded CryoCapCell with his father and invented the revolutionary tool CryoCapsule. He has a PhD in cell biology from EMBL, Heidelberg. Now he is in charge of the research and the strategic orientation of the company.
Martin Belle, PhD
Martin is a neuroscientist who joined the company in 2015. He is now in charge of the development of CryoCapCell in science and in business. He received his PhD in neuroscience from the University Paris Sud.
Jérôme Heiligenstein
Jérôme co-founded CryoCapCell with his son in 2013. He has more than 40 years of experience in the field of engineering, plastics, designing and manufacturing of special machines.

Chie Kodera, PhD
Chie is a cell biologist who joined CryoCapCell in 2022. She is in charge of the lab management and the research with external scientists. She earned her PhD in cell biology/biochemistry from the University of Tokyo.
Yann Bret
Yann is a mechanical engineer, in charge of manufacturing and industrialization.
He joined the company in 2022, after +20 years in robotics for satellite communication, and railway maintenance of security equipments.
Adeline Cases
Adeline is an adminitration and purchase assistant for industry, especially electrical components.
She joined CryoCapCell in 2022
Advisory Board
Frederic Eyraud
Frederic is an informatician, specialized in automation and industrial process. He is developping the electronics and informatics of our HPM series.
Vincent Muczynski, PhD
Vincent is a talented scientist who joined CryoCapCell at the very beginning of the adventure. He brings his expertise in light microscopy. He has a PhD in cell biology from Paris Sud University.
Philippe Tramoy
Philippe, a partner at Seventure Partners, is in charge of life siences investments for the Quadrivium I fund.
He started his career as a Project Manager and Director of Business Development Europe in the Rhodia group and later founded a market and business intelligence company, CBDMT – Market & Business Intelligence, which he managed for 10 years prior to joining Seventure.
Philippe is a graduate in biochemistry (MSc) and in immunology and genetics (MSc) from the University of Burgundy and the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. He graduated from IAE Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne with a Master’s in Finance and HEC Paris with a Master’s in Intelligence Marketing.
Erfane Arwani
Born into a family of biologists, chemists and entrepreneurs, Erfane began his career at Ariba in Sunnyvale (CA) as a computer scientist. He then worked mainly in market finance for major French banking groups. In 2013, he joined the Parisian startup ecosystem to co-found the Deeptech Nanocloud, then SharePlace with Fabrice Bonan (Talend NASDAQ: TLND) and finally Biomemory, the European DNA Data Storage leader, as a spin-off of CNRS and Sorbonne University.
